Jax tapas is amazing!! Have gone back several times to try most of the menu and it’s always delicious! This is a stunning bar, really elegantly decorated with a great photography gallery to make it more interesting. The staff are always very friendly and it has a very relaxed and intimate atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back – you have to try it!

Really lovely, intimate and sophisticated place. Gorgeous wine and whisky selection and beautiful, interesting tapas that are great to share. We spent $40 each on the food and we were absolutely stuffed and was able to try over half of their menu! Perfect little place to catch up with a few friends or bring that special someone.

A great little bar with a lovely atmosphere and very good wait staff in a great location. We dined on the opening night of the Rugby World Cup and surprisingly Jax was rather quiet. Unfortunately our tapas did not have that ’something extra’ and were just okay. It would be great to see the food go to the next level which would make this a great place to dine.

This lovely intimate little bar next to the Newmarket train station was a gorgeous little secret. Delicious tapas (the seared scallops with prosciutto and chardonnay & citrus jelly were a sensation) a fabulous playlist and beautiful, chic surroundings. Bring friends here if you want a relaxed, sophisticated environment with amazing food. Will definitely be coming again to try the rest of the tantalising menu!

Small, cosy and lovely decor which tempted us to give it a go, but the tapas are tiny and overpriced, so won’t be returning.

Gorgeous little wine & tapas bar… Exactly what Newmarket needed! Great food, beautiful little wine list and a nice selection of single malt whisky… all reasonably priced too! Great service with very friendly staff that actually care what you think about the experience. And what’s more, it’s also a photography gallery with stunning artwork along the wall! They’ve really gone all out in fitting out this stunning space. Make sure you check it out!
