cannot believe how much the standard dropped since my last visit a year or more ago. The floor of the restaurant was slippery and greasy. the fried rice was oily, teriyaki chicken was over marinated, beef was well done when i asked for medium, salmon was fishy (not fresh) tough and greasy. only good thing about it was that chef was entertaining, but i think it’s more important if he can cook…

I’d have to say very average, the staff performance was poor and not much of a show at all.
For a $70 meal for two, you got very little food, poor vegetables.
Top it off, if paying by credit card there is a 1.5% fee…
I wouldn’t be returning, there are a far better Teppanyaki Restaurants in Auckland.

It’s a little on the expensive side for me…I know the show is what they’re selling but still…the food is great never the less and great for a special occasion, I like the fact you can pay for a dessert upgrade to the buffet(good for picky littlies that don’t want to try the Japanese desserts haha)
