This cafe/restaurant has only one advantage a fantastic view that draws you back.
We went for a coffee which was served cold, they forgot our order for muffins etc. We went up to let them know after we finished our coffee. There was no apology, we asked for our money back, they did not care.
Wine is reasonably priced.
Very disappointing.

so much promise, so little delivery. we have been three times and had very different experiences. nothing wrong with the menu but the staff seem indifferent at best.

I was very disappointed with the lunch we had over the long weekend. I ordered the Far north Lamb burger with steak fries. What i got was a lamb mince Pattie that was mushy and cold along with cold shoe string fries. My partner ordered the Open steak sandwich char-grilled. His steak was a minute steak which at first we thought was bacon as it was so crispy and thin. The price of these meals certainly suggested more finer cuts of meat. Because we were with family we did not want to complain. But the stars are for the lovely drop of wine we had and the service.

What a huge disappointment. This place has so much potential but it failed in so many ways.
First the staff ignore you – 3 behind the counter and none would look up and offer us a table.
A menu which boast local delicacies but didn’t have any fish or seafood despite being surrounded by water. And no vegetarian option unless you want chips.
The only good thing (because of the staffs incompetence) was they forgot to charge us for our wine.
