Recreation @ Karori Park overlooks one of Wellington’s premier parks and recreation grounds. You’ll find us next to the children’s playground on Karori Park. We share a building with the Karori Cricket Club and Karori Waterside Football clubs.
Karori Park Cafe serve Revive coffee and expect that every cup should be excellent.
Our food is made on the premises chef. We have a range of counter food including old favourites and gluten, egg and diary free dishes. We change the counter food continually so that our regulars don’t get bored.
A $10 brunch menu is offered on 7 days a week and a more extensive brunch menu Wed – Sundays.
The cafe overlooks the park and has plenty of room inside and out for groups and children. Kids can play with the toys provided or remain within view on the park. A playground next door is very popular.

Just a little word of advice- I get that ‘barristas’ are generally busy making coffee but when you are one of three people in a restaurant, they are obviously NOT run off their feet and I’m pretty sure can make an effort to at least greet you when you walk up to the counter rather than look at you and suddenly get awfully interested in stirring the coffee in front of them. Which turned out to be for the other girl behind the counter and not even a customer!!

They are active community and environment supporters, providing free coffee for the local river restoration group.
Yay for South and West Karori’s family friendly, enviro friendly cafe!
