Absolutely shocking indian cuisine. Decor was nice enough but the staff weren’t overly friendly and the food was the worst we’ve ever tasted. Usually the meat in Indian dishes is tender and full of flavour after being cooked so long in the spicy sauces.. These dishes however, consisted of big hard lumps of boiled meat in watered down, bland sauces. So tough we actually had to hack at it with knives. We have never left an indian meal unfinished before. Extremely disappointed and will never return. 0 out of 5 if I’d been able to vote zero!!

Great location, great decor, above average (if different) food and well worth a visit. Kashmir is let down by its staff though. There’s an attitude that staff and systems come first, customer second. We waited a long time for wine while empty tables were set,a waitress was clearly miffed that we wanted to order entre first and mains after discussion. We seemed to be to blame that a table setting for four was not enough for five and that an extra wine glass was needed. Food was great and plentiful and had some interesting variations on the standard indian cuisine, kitchen aromas were lovely, and a good evening was had by all. Kashmir is highly recommended, but if this is reviewed by the management some staff customer service training could make them first class.
