luck of the draw, they can make good coffee, depending on the barista of the day.
Muffins are yummy, and the freshly made scones and cakes.
Generous portions – with their breakfast menu. Satisfying but nothing to boast to the mother-in-law about.

Been to Kenzie twice for lunch last year and both times the food and coffee were excellent. The coffee was strong and the food fresh and plentiful.
However, I was very disappointed when I was there for coffee over the weekend. I had to ask them to remake my coffee as it tasted like nothing more than warm milk. The second time round wasn’t any better. The barista that day just couldn’t make a good coffee, which is unfortunate because I actually like their food. But I probably won’t be back again.

Date scones and coffee WERE always good as WERE the friendly staff
But on our most recent visit…looks like there is new management…and the service and food quality has dropped way off.

I have been looking for good coffee in Newmarket for ages. This cafe definitely comes out tops with excellent coffee, a lovely warm established environment with lots of newspapers and magazines to browse. Compared to the upmarket bars around the corner in Nuffield St…its way ahead.
