Sophisticated atmosphere. Well attentive and friendly bartender & manager. Wanted to especially acknowledge the bartender (the female one who was there early and for the entire night), she was exeptional! Kilala bar is phenomenal.

Came up from Wellington with my wife for my daughters 21st birthday. The place was a rat infested hole … very dirty with drunk people everywhere. Most of them seemed under age so will be in contact with the licensing people soon. No food available.. even just bar snacks would have been ok. My daughter started a bar tab and found at the end of the night that a heap of things had been added on. She asked for the manager and he was rude and told her to pay the bill and f…. off. Thought I was in a third world country. Sadly my daughter ended up in tears. Don’t go there ….. just awful
