Have been going to Kisso ever since it first opened – this is the BEST sushi in the Waikato, perhaps even further! Their fresh and teriyaki salmon is to die for, with ENORMOUS pieces of salmon. HUGE pieces of salmon! I note another reviewer states prices are a bit higher than most – I disagree. I also rate their other sushi highly too, there is nothing average about any of their offerings. Regarding the comment about the owners’ attitude, this couple are hard cases, a bit cheeky, but always friendly, perhaps the customer took their humour the wrong way? I just love them, and would give them 10 stars if I could.

Their most famous sushis are their fresh and teriyaki salmon – absolutely amazing. The fish is so fresh and the teriyaki is grilled to just the right softness. Remember to ask for it at the counter
However, their other sushis are all average. And their price is a bit higher compared to other sushi stored around Hamilton.
Dislike the attitude of the owners though…
