Oh Kita Q! You were so great!! Where did you go? My favourite restaurant of all time. Now I cry myself to sleep at night and lose weight quickly. Hopefully I will not die.
So, this review needs to be bigger. Your Katsu Don was delicious. And Hot. And yummy in the extreme.
Your service was always cheerful. And prompt.
Your Prices were so reasonable.
What could have happened to you? Perhaps a terrible curse? I will find out!

Mmm….Takoyaki.
Takoyaki? What’s that, you say?
Octopus balls. No, not THOSE types of balls. Sheesh.
Octopus balls are comprised of chopped fresh octopus mixed in a flour-based batter and grilled in a special golfball-shaped cast iron pan. Once they’re nice and grilled, they’re dressed with Kewpie mayo and takoyaki sauce, and then topped with some shaved bonito and seaweed flakes. Soooo good.
So you see, you CAN stick some tasty balls in your mouth every once in a while and still be respectable.
Also, for about $10, you can get some authentic, fresh and tasty Japanese bento from really nice Japanese folks who know how to put together a nice, takeaway lunch.
Portions are large. I’ve been there a few times, and always felt like I was getting my money’s worth.
My recs: yakisoba (stir fried noodles with pork), tonkatsu bento, any of the rice bowls (dons), and the takoyaki snack pack.
