Kitchenette is a modern cafe and Gourmet burgers outlet located in Highland Park Shopping Centre next to Westpac bank. Kitchenette also offers delicious Israeli-influenced dishes.
We pride ourselves on our healthy, homemade foods and fine Toasted coffee.
Our “All day breakfast” menu offers a yummy, kiwi-style brekkie or you may choose the very popular Israeli “Shakshuka”, 2 free-range eggs poached in our spicy, homemade Moroccan sauce…yummm
During winter, we serve the “soup of the day” while in the spring/summer you may choose from our Salad Bar selection.
Very popular among the locals for our Takeaway menu, just ring us and arrange your yummy dinner to be picked-up on way home.

his has got to be as genuine a kiwi gourmet burger place as it gets.
Wide range, catering also to people that need gluten-free buns.
I went there for a quick lunch before heading to the supermarket for groceries. Had one of those “smidge” burgers, size perfect since wasn’t really that hungry. Tasted amazing!
Recommend this place to cronies that want to have a good old cackle over good times. Saw some there having a splendid time gossiping.
Staff really friendly; one can tell it is a very good place by the regulars that come over and chat to staff to discuss what they should get. Very hilarious overhearing them.
Good for anyone that enjoys a good burger really.

Took my Mum here for Mother’s Day lunch on Sunday. Although this place didn’t seem to be that busy, our meals were a little slow to come out. But the food was wonderful, though I didn’t think the coffee was as good as other reviews portray.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Will definitely be back, to try other things on the menu. All their menu items look delicious!

I find an excuse to go to Kitchenette for my morning fix of a triple shot coffee and savoury muffin. So good and so fresh every time.
Just got a Haifa Pita pocket – what can I say – spicy, tangy, tasty, easy to eat out of a bag (hehehe). High quality food and made quickly.
Excellent friendly team with great service.

This is my local coffee and cafe place…great little place, the ynow have a new deck so its got more space. As well as doing great burgers they have some new Pita/Plat-yas on the menu that are amazing…great coffee as well!

Well, I can only add to all the great reviews of the Kitchenette so far.
My wife and I drop in frequently for the excellent coffee, fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere and a good laugh with the super-friendly staff.
We just love the place….we’re extremely lucky to have them in our local area.

These are the most amazing burgers I have ever had, I’ve come back time and time again just to try all the different types! Which is really saying something because there is a very vast selection of options.
They also have great coffee, I have yet to find a place that surpasses the quality of the coffee here.
I live in the city and kitchenette is always worth the trip! If only they would open one more centrally :c

Delicious! Burgers are eat-in or takeaway, bout the same price as the other gourmet burger chains but yummier, though similar simple decor to those chains! There are the standard flavours (beef, chicken, vegetarian) or try the Moroccan Chicken burger if you like delicious spices or the Portobello burger if you like blue cheese and red onion relish. Looks like most of the meat is free range if possible. Gluten free buns also available for a dollar extra. Yum! Also is a cafe and has allpress coffee and a good looking range of slices/cakes and some breakfast options.

from a chef this is as good as burgers get , full of flavor , juicy tasty meat , international variety all served with a bloody great smile ……..worth the trip out to pakuranga if you are after quality.

Have purchased takeaway burgers here on multiple occasions.
I have to say that the burgers really are top notch and probably the best I have had in quite some time. Love to eat these burgers!
The only downside I have noticed is the amount of chips has decreased over time and is not that great a value for money which often means a trip to elsewhere to get a ‘decent’ serve of chips.
However, as mentioned previously – cannot fault the burgers!

Hands down the best gourmet burger I have ever eaten and the tastiest burger menu options I have seen yet (will take some time to work my way through them all). Yes, a big statement, but worthy of the praise. I suggest trying their beef first (as was recommended to me) – you will be back. My only hope is they open one up more centrally so I can visit more regularly.

Incredible burgers – fresh ingredients, beautiful flavours and great value for money. Have tried a lot of burger places and this is a favourite. Really friendly staff too, thanks
