Wow – we honestly didn’t expect this eatery joint to produce such high quality food. We were only looking for a quick dinner meal – and judging by the atmosphere (it was deadly empty on a Friday evening) – we weren’t expecting much (at most – school canteen sorta food)… but my my my we were very very wrong. I would have to say that the dishes are tasty and of course, very very reasonably priced. If you’re not fussed about the area and deco…. then ure in for a real good surprise!

I am working at a law firm in the city currently and have been in the area since i was studying a number of years ago. I have been a customer to this restaurant for many years, the food is not only top quality but extremely affordable too.

I’ve been coming here for years and love that I can get a substantial, delicious meal on a budget. The restaurant is extremely clean, the service quick and efficient. Food is always to a very high standard. Also love the novelty of pulling my meal ticket from the menu board! Free green tea is an added bonus!

Don’t listen to Sue, she doesn’t know what she’s on about. Plus, she was pregnant at the time so her poor, one sided review to what is probably the best Asian cooking in Auckland’s CBD, should be not be considered as valid.

This place is off the chain. 5 star quality food at the fraction of the cost and so filling. This place deservers 6 stars. Nuff said.

I had a really back experience. I ordered BBQ pork rice and dumplings for lunch. The dumplings were not cooked thoroughly and it had a funny smell. I was 6 months pregnant and didn’t want to risk it. I asked the waitress to replace my dish. She refused on the basis that she could not resell it. Half my dish was not eatable and they refuse to replace or refund it.


I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food was lukewarm and the quality questionable.
