It was ok. Decor was nice and service was brilliant but it took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive, which I think is a touch too long. I ordered the Steak Sizzler and my friend ordered the same however hers was extremely rare even though we had both asked for a medium rare to well done steak. The Sizzling Brownie was impressive though.
I think Kobe Sizzlers deserves a rating of about 2.85 but I think it would be unfair to give it a 2 so that is why I rounded up to 3.

We ordered chicken shashlik with rice and mushroom sauce. The order what we received was full of cream and under seasoned with hardly any mushrooms. Added was heaps of sauteed chunks of onions with an absolute bland chicken pieces. The order was a total mess of cream which is apparently called as Mushroom sauce on rice. Would not recommend to anyone. Though the ambiance and the service was flawless. On providing comments on checkout received an apology but the first experience is always the last one. Chicken lollipops was average.

Hello to all the Aucklander’s out there, Had been to Kobe and was very happy with the Food, service & the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Could not have asked anything better in Auckland. Thanks guys for coming to Auckland and giving us a new taste & a place to be at.

Will recommend all my friends & family members without doubt.

We went with the Groupon deal so we had great value for the price we paid. The main component of the sizzlers that we ordered was very well cooked and tasty; however, the accompanying vegetables and mashed potatoes/fries were undercooked and not very flavorful. There was a ton of food on the plate though. The best part of the meal was the brownie sizzler at the end, highly recommended. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even though we were Groupon customers and had paid ahead of time. If we had to pay full price, I would have expected a little bit better of a main, but overall it was a very good experience.

I went here with my mum and I had a voucher. I enjoyed the food thoroughly because it was in big portions and the ingredients were made fresh. I ordered the two vegetarian mains and it met my expectations There were plenty of vegetables and potatoes and the sauce was very good and wasn’t oily as I had requested.

I would say the food was very good but unfortunately we were a bit disturbed by the renovations because something was wrong with the lighting =(..

I’m sure that will get fixed soon. The waiters there were very attentive but too bad there weren’t many people there, hopefully more people will come and try out this new place!

Was extremely excited when we heard of the opening in Auckland. We have been die-hard fan’s of Kobe Restaurant in India. Regret the sizzlers were not at all anywhere near in comparison to the original either in portion size or taste. Would not visit again unless the unique taste which is the most important aspect of Kobe’s sizzler and the portions distinct to this brand are provided.

Had dinner last Friday with some Friends, Absolutely Love their food, the Chilly Cheese Toast & the Sizzling Brownie was the best…. would suggest everyone to try that . Had veg Shashlik & that was Awesome…. Great prompt Service as well . Will definitely go there again.

I visited Kobe with great expectations of image of that in Mumbai and it was to the expectations. Good food, good proportion and service was good as well, specially Brownie sizzlers. I will definitely visit it again.

My husband and I went to Kobe over the weekend and really enjoyed our meals. He went for a sizzling chicken while I tried the lamb seekh.
We both asked for garlic sauce (which was a tad salty… and we’ll be ordering it on the side next time).
The serving sizes were generous and we were stuffed after our meals.
The sizzling brownies looked amazing… we were just too stuffed from our meal to try them.
The staff were great and very enthusiastic…
Will definitely be back soon…
