I thought the decor and customer service was very good provided by the 2 sisters who served us, the food was not very good compared to other similar Taiwanese tea houses we have visited. If the business can improve their meals then I think they will do better.

We got promotion vouchers for having ‘high tea’ at this bar. It was 5 of us and the voucher conditions said maximum of 2 vouchers could be purchased for 5 people. When we got to the bar which was located right next to a busy & noisy bus stop, the manager could only give us food for 4 people and told me that it was the voucher provider’s fault & she had no idea about these rules. I told her that I would’ve bought 3 vouchers, had I known it, but the conditions restricted me & I thought there would be enough food for 5. She didn’t want to give us extra food to start with, but after my continuous talk with her, she finally agreed to give us a couple of food items only.
The food was very very bad. Very poor quality & quantity per person. Besides, bread was stale, sausages in hot dogs looked old (I thought we were having ‘high tea’ by the way?), small brownies were hard as nails and the last and definitely the most shocking was the out of date sour whipped cream (Needless to say we all went to the toilet that night even after trying just a bit of this cream).
Staff also didn’t speak much English and there was a huge lack of customer service. I personally cannot take caffeine and asked if their Coffee slushy was just a flavour or real coffee and they said it was just a flavour add on. I felt horribly sick after having this slushy, as it turned out to be real coffee.
We were very disappointed and felt quite sick after trying their food. Even the fact that it was cheap promo vouchers didn’t make us feel any better. The only OK thing was their slushy drinks.

I came here twice and was really disappointed the second time around. The first time I came, I ordered one of their cold milk tea lattes, and thought it was good as they mix the milk tea with ice in a blender so it is nice and cold!
I came here the second time with a friend using a discount voucher and it was really really disappointing! The entree was average, its not good but its not too bad. The food really went downhill from here, we ordered one jasmine milk tea and one almond milk tea with pearls, we ordered both drinks cold but it was came at room temperature! I cannot taste the jasmine in my jasmine milk tea at all!
The mains came soon after, I was disappointed with the size of the dish, and the rice dish i ordered was tasteless! They could have at least put more sauce to it! my friend ordered the cold noodles and it has more flavour to it. We ordered the dessert, pudding, which was made out of powered mix, was actually the highlight of the entire meal!
Would not go back there again, such a shame though as they spent so much money decorating the shop!

we went to use an online groupon at this place to try it out, by the end of it we both came out regretting we even wasted our stomach space and time.
our drinks, mains, ‘snacks’ and desserts all came at random times so that my bf was finished his main and snack while i had only had my ‘smoothie’ which was actually just a liquid drink and not a smoothie at all. they left dirty leftovers and plates on the one table they have in the place as every other seat is a decorative stool it seemed like. and we ended up cleaning it outselves since they just kept bringing us food and placing it on the same dirty dished table. nice. my mans ‘coffee’ was literally 1/4 full of actual cold coffee and the rest was foam. ( the following list is not what order it arrived in)
2 mains :
‘roast chicken on rice’ which was shredded chicken with cucumber and mayo in a plastic sectioned microwave dish that had a limp steamed broccoli sitting in a pool of water, limp steamed grated carrot in another and a large section of nasty white rice. i dont think they actually have any proper cooking equipment other than a microwave in this place. my main was ‘mince pork on noodles’ which was a microwave bowl of noodles with a pathetic amount of mince pork on top. the flavor was edible and i guess you could say the best thing i ate throughout the meal.
2 snacks: ‘bbq pork bun’… came out of a perma steam fridge thing and when my bf went to peel the paper off the bottom as usual, the entire soggy bottom came off as well exposing the entire bun. mine was supposed to be ‘ tuna, tomato, cheese mini pizza’ WHAT A JOKE. it was literally a piece of frozen thick bread that they slapped on a little tinned tuna, a layer of thick tomato, and a bunch of greasy sliced white cheese and microwaved. the grease was running off of the top and the bread was incredibly soggy. mmmm yum.
2 desserts: ‘sponge cake with cream’ was literally like eating couch sponge with sliced strawberries on the side ( thank god you can’t screw those up). and mine i dont remember the name… was a mini prepackaged fruit bowl cup ( the kind you give to kids for school lunch) with not well done sago pearls from bubble tea, passionfruit jelly which was alright, and a couple sliced strawberries. not what i was expecting.
the entire ‘restaurant/bar’ is full of cool trendy decoration and furniture. they’ve even got branded napkins and cups but clearly they’ve invested in everything not important. the tv that was playing an asian movie( with no subtitles) and was drowned out by music overplaying it. the people running the show was just two. a girl in the back making the food, and a guy running the front taking any orders and also going into the totally open visible kitchen to help put my ‘mini pizza’ together….
if you’re expecting anything other than soggy bread, limp broccoli or grated carrot…… don’t go here and waste your money, go across the street to bruce lee sushi which is an absolute gem of a restaurant !!
