What can I say, not a lot of anything good to be honest! Myself and a friend had the canneloni and it was the biggest dissappoint I have experienced from a restaurant. It was bland, disgusting and even my friends cat wouldnt eat the leftovers!!!
I also had the Garlic King Prawns and this dish was just as disappointing. Two completely different dishes, both sadly lacking in flavour, and we would have done better making our own or getting a frozen Italian dinner from the supermarket. We will not be going back.

I’ve just had my 40th birthday dinner at this restaurant. My booking was for 18 people and I really can’t fault the food or the service. When it came to paying there was no fuss over taking everyones payment separately. There was no charge for taking my own birthday cakes. The food came out quickly and it was all lovely. My dinner guests all had a wonderful time. Thank you for making my birthday enjoyable.

After reading all the positive reviews I was expecting a lot more than we got. Lovely friendly waiting staff and quirky dated decor but the food was not good.

My pasta dish had a creamy tomato sauce which tasted like it was straight out of a jar and not pleasant. We were given some parmesan cheese to accompany the dishes but disappointingly it was not fresh, but the dried horrible stuff that comes in a shaker from the supermarket. In fact everyones meals tasted like it was straight out of a jar purchased at the neighboring supermarket.

I hear that the pizzas are good, but they are not really Italian style, more dominos style.

I really really wanted to like this place, but sadly we wont be back.

We have been there many times, and the food and service are always great. I love the tortellini.

We also get their food to takeaway as well and that is just as yummy.

Book well in advance as they fill up very quickly!

I heard from a friend this place was the best Italian Restaurant she had ever been to in Auckland so I decided to try it out by getting takeout since the restaurant was completely full and booked up.I wasn’t disappointed at all.The tortellini was excellent for it’s price.I will definately go back regularly in the future to dine in and take out.The service was excellent and the staff was extremely warm and friendly.

been eating here for years and its still my favourite restaurant. its a comfortable cosy enviroment with the added extra of being byo. you can also call up and order for take away. pollo capri is one of my favourites

Have been eating at la Padellas for at least 18 years and still love it. It’s consistently good (if not exciting and innovative). I’m ordering Pollo Capri to takeaway tonight..yum

My partner Gavin Oram and I strongly believe this is the perfect place to dine in or take away. The food is just divine and we have never been disappointed. I love to invite friends and family to join us when ever we decide to dine in there.

absolutely love this place.my 3 girls and husband love it too. the food and service are second to none, its hard to go else where.the pizzas are the best in auckland and the steaks are perfect.

Absolutely devine food! have been here plenty of times. whether its dining in or just getting take aways the food is always just as good! if you dont mind a little noise then i highly recommend this place! p.s. the pollo capri is the best on the menu
