I went to this restaurant in new Lynn we were seated straight away and served pretty quick I hate waiting for ages so I was happy. we ordered the carbonara pasta and I can’t remember the name of the pizza but their pasta was the best and it’s big and the price is cheap and with the Parmesan cheese was superp the place itself is pretty vibrant their desert I know it was a type of choc cake it was good and their bathrooms is okay. it was just parking we had to park down the road because there was no parking in front. I definitely would go there again now they have meat in their mains.

Nice vibrant atmosphere.
The meals are pretty good i enjoyed myself i had a lasagna it was nice and hot so cant complain there.
service let it down though took a while for them to come round although it wasnt exactly empty but i give it an OK rating enjoyable but room for improvement.

We went in on a not too busy Thursday night, waited 30 minutes and didn’t even get a second look from staff for drinks orders, even after politely trying to get their attention and the table next to us being served with entrees, despite them walking in 10 minutes after us. Not cool at all.

Absolutley LOVE this place! The food is soooo good, is great value for money and the service is excellent. Cant fault it at all and have been back many times since it opened.
I always order the steak with chips and salad, which always arrives nice and hot and is generously sized! You have to have the mushroom sauce with it (it is to DIE for!).

A fantastic night out with excellent food and awesome service. A great bargain for the price and well worth it. But, while overhearing the table next to us make an order we decided to order what they had, but when theirs came they seemed to have changed their minds and a meal was sent back. It makes us wonder how these ugly patrons manage to get past their egos. Too much money and not enough heart. Rude customers belong at Pizza Hutt or staying home.

On 18th July we checked out La Porchetta as a venue for my up coming 70th birthday and were very impressed with the friendly service and quality of food, delicious!!! The following weekend 25/07/10 we attended with our 16 guests (friends ans family) who were also super impressed wit food and service the younger ones love the idea sugested by our charming hostess of JUGS OF COKE a cheaper option than purchasing by the glass, wine, beer and spirits where also reasonable!! THANK YOU lA PORCHETTE New Lynn for making my 70th birthday wonderful XXXXX

Nice New restaurant, lacks the character of a Italian restaurant and has the atmosphere of a McDonald’s, just by dimming the lights can make changes to the atmosphere tremendously. The chairs are also little flimsy.
The service/waitresses were great, one of them was a little inexperienced but was totally polite and did quite well at remembering who ordered what etc.
usually at a Italian restaurant,Parmesan and cracked pepper is served by the waiter/ress it wasnt, so I helped myself from the table..no fuss.
Had Seafood Chowder, Ravioli with pesto and “the lot pizza”, the pizza was second to none, my son and I both agreed we would come here for our pizzas in future, better than Hell and the others. The pasta dish and seafood chowder were both very nice. the wife had a chicken caesar salad but found it a bit dry and lacked sauce. my 11 year old Son had the Scallipeno dish, he loved it although he found the veges a bit raw, but they are steamed so they were probably ok.
Overall a very nice experience but I think they could improve the atmosphere alot ,its very bright like most asian restaurants and dimming the lights would do wonders.The music was dexy midnight runners, need some Italian music.

my partner and i had never been here before and i also reed the reviews for henderson and new lynn before we went and we chose to go to new lynn… we got seated straight away and seated in the right place. we got there at 7pm and drinks came 5 minutes after- 2 minutes later we ordered our food,in order- garlic and herd pizza bread, wedges, ripiena, pollo e funghi we got all our food before 7.25, and all the food was very hot just how it should be, service was alittle fast but not complaining, staff were always available and served us at the right times. we even got our food takeaway as there was to much, we were out of there at 7.45 so if your ever in a hurry go to new lynn : ) had a good time

Wow!! That is a totally different experience to the one I and other friends have had.. We did not book and they found a table for us on a busy friday night. The food came out very quickly and the waitresses were super attentive. One of the pizzas came out when we were halfway through our mains and they said it would be on the house! I was so impressed with the place and it is very family friendly. We will be back many times and have recommended it to lots of friends who have also had favourable experiences.. Can’t please em all!!

I went to this restaurant on Mothers Day.
I order 2 mains plus a pizza for our party of 3.
The pizza was to be served as a main as well.
The pizza arrived 20 mins before the balance of our order. No excuses given.
The drinks which where for our meal arrived early also and we said we wanted them with our mains. They then sat on the bar for 20 mins and where then returned when our mains finally arrived.
I ordered fish, what a joke it was only a mouthful and the plate was covered with about 75% of chips.
I will not recommend this place to anybody.
There are better places to go.
This place is as Italian as Mc Donalds is scottish.

I ordered chicken avocado pasta, garlic bread, 2 sml pizzas, the lot and can’t remember the other. Took 10 mins. Before ready, it was takeaway, so we didn’t get to taste hot. Got home 10 mins later to have cold, crunchy biscuit like pizza, yuuk!!. Pasta was ok til it started to curdle, cream coming away from the cheese.
My partner and I were very disappointed, first and last time, we wldve been better off at dominoes, cheaper and yummier!!, cost was abit much for this crap, $45.
I don’t recommend.
