Besides regularly refreshed, seasonally-based lunch and dinner menus, the restaurant serves up all day espresso, beverages and snacks.

In the warmer months restaurant eating extends outdoors onto a patio where under oversize sun umbrellas diners can look out on gardens and grounds. Winter’s chill brings a coziness where in the restaurant a wood burner warms diners seated on chairs and tables unique to the lodge. During refurbishment bedheads and bed frames made of the New Zealand native timber, rimu, were salvaged and crafted by a local cabinetmaker into the dining tables and chairs.

In the restaurant kitchen, host Kim Winterbottom, self-confessed foodie and qualified chef, produces gourmet delights using local and seasonal produce. Fine food and wine in an atmosphere encouraging relaxation and conviviality are very much part of the Lake Roxburgh Lodge experience.
