Having heard about this restaurant from friends we decided to go and see if it was as good as we had been told and it was. We went on a wednesday night when they have a 3 course special. We had the vegetable fritters & seafood selection for an entree & for the main I choose the chicken with a marsala sauce & my husband had the Rib eye steak with mushroom sauce which he said was cooked to perfection & for dessert we had the mudcake with true chocolate sauce not out of a bottle like some I have tried & my husband had the tiramisu which he said was delectable. I was told that they run this special every wednesday & thursday & that the menu & price changes each week. For the price of $33 per person we definately will be returning.

I found Lakota’s food to be very much like home cooking, the price is excellent value for money. The restaurant itself is very clean and spacious. The staff are very efficient and helpful. I cannot recommend Lakota’s enough. In fact Lakota’s is one of the best restaurants in Paraparaumu.

Unfortunately not the nicest place we have dined at in the Kapiti area. One of the most expensive, it smelled like a dirty pub, had food on the walls, and we were seated near a noisy group on a quiet night when there were heaps of tables free. The food was nice, but won’t be going back, sorry.

A recent reunion of my old school mates- we hadnt seen each other all together for over 15 years. it was so nice to get together and not feel rushed out the door! we were welcomed by nice staff, and nothing was too much of a problem.The food was all excellent. I had entree, main and desert, and it was all cooked to perfection. Two of the ladies go there on a regular basis and i will certainly be returning. real quality at an affordable price. thanks for a great night out that we will remember for years to come.

we had a great christmas lunch, tasty sselection on menu, very filling. we will return
