Always a really positive attitude at this cafe.
Great range of breakfast and lunch meals. Big counter meal selection. They are open for dinners over the summer. Great place for a coffee, light meal and a catch up with friends. Also a good place for an informal business meeting

I have had many great meals over the years at Lambrettas, and went there again today with my partner for lunch. He ordered the caeser salad, I got a margherita pizza. My pizza arrived at least 5 minutes after his salad, and his salad was completely bland, no taste at all. The pizza was ok-ish, until I bit down on a broken piece of plastic in the middle of it. I went up and told the wait staff, she didn’t believe me at first, was quite rude about it. I got given a new pizza to take away. Also, the table next to me got a charred black toasted sandwich, and they got the same response when they asked for a new one. When I went to collect the new pizza and leave, someone behind the bar said ‘sorry mam, but it could have been a lot worse, we were busy’. I have been in there when it is packed out and got great service, the room was not even half full. I don’t know why they have changed, but they really really have gotten alot worse.

This is a good place to eat for a casual lunch but ry to sit outside as inside gets a little noisy. Good coffee and usually quick service. The owner is usually around so the staff are generally on the ball, which in Nelson is not always the case.
