And, of course, a full range of breakfast items.
Latitude 41 Cafe and Bar is also the perfect venue for most types of functions, catering for 65 seated or 100+ casual. In most cases there is no hireage fee!
Latitude 41 Cafe and Bar’s award winning barista satisfies the most discerning coffee drinkers, and we are fully licensed for those who want to enjoy a refreshing beer or wine.
So come on over to Queen’s Wharf, so close yet far enough away from the noise of the city.

I paid $5.50 for the most repugnant inedible ever offered in a cafe in Wellington. It was a chicken roll strangled in gladwrap – I hope it died a quick death. It was a hard as concrete roll filled with dry chicken – the roll was like hard rubber and the chicken dry as a bone. All of it was freezing ie as in cold – I dont know if it died of cold or strangulation. It was horrible and I threw it out – it was an insult to their customers! Had I had time I would have returned it but instead I am warning others of this weapon of mass destruction!

I visited this restaurant last night with only an hour to eat before the start of Mama Mia. We visited other restaurants around the place and were told we wouldn’t be served before the show. We went here and asked how long and was told around 10 minutes – great! They had it on our table definitely in around this time. Because of this, we were able to go to the show with a full tummy! Thanks. Staff were definitely friendly and they had a good system going for big night. I would definitely dine here again. Only one down sight – I ordered the seafood chowder which comes with garlic bread but I also ordered another garlic bread for my friend. They brought out one plate of garlic bread – should’ve explained whether that was for the soup or the extra we ordered or if it was combined. The outdoor seating area is fabulous

Don’t bother to go here if you are around when there is an event on at the Arena. The staff on Sunday couldn’t’ handle the rush before the WOW Show. Why did I expect that they should? I mean they are situated opposite an entertainment centre, how silly of me to think I would get good service here. I was happy to queue for about 10 minutes for my order to be taken, after walking round the Botanical Gardens and other parts of Wellington all day. Once I got my order – and that was OK though no apology for the wait. I went outside because there was no seating inside, it was very noisy and hot being so full. When the waitress came for my order I asked if she would be kind and fetch me some tap water because I was too tired to fight my way inside again. “Too busy” she answered as she pushed the door to go inside. “Gee thanks, next time I visit Wellington, I will be too busy to visit Latitude 41.” Be sure of that.
