Unfortunately we got take out from here not once but twice. We gave them a second chance after the first experience which we were made to feel like our order was a bit of a hassle, but we thought, hey perhaps they were just busy and the food was okay. So second time round- they were again SO rude over the phone when placing our order, very abrupt and dismisive, almost like they really didn’t need another order. On arriving to pay I discovered they had given us chicken pasta instead of bacon (we do not eat chicken!) they insisted that we ordered incorrectly, in front of a busy restaurant, where, if I was dining would have felt very uncomfortable. They reluctantly agreed to making us a replacement pizza instead. So while I waited outside I overheard their total unprofesionalism continue in telling restaurant diners how I stuffed up my own order. I went in to confront them on their rudeness and to correct the details of their tales but their attitude was so rude and immature that I took my pizza and left so to not further disrupt the diners. There are so many other quality restaurants out there that this one is not even worth considering in my opinion! Rude and sweaty pizza men good luck to you!

took the grandson to onehunga toyworld today, and on the way out noticed this restaurant right opposite.
now the lad is very partial to a pizza when he stays with us, so rather than going to hell, we decided to check this place out for something different. now let me say I’m pleased we did!
phoned for a takeaway and was told ready in 20 minutes. parked right at the door. first thing i notice is the ‘A’ grading from the council, with the words ‘highly commended’ attached – always a great start.
the pizzas were just coming out of the oven and right on time – a tropical and a marghretta, along with wedges and a ceasar chicken salad. when we got home the pizzas and wedges were still piping hot. everything was superb.
if i could award this place a michellin star – it would have it’s first!
keep up the good work boyz, it sure as hell runs rings around the competition…..

SO glad I had a grabone voucher. To start when I made the booking they were rude on the phone. When we got there we were seated and the chef came out to take our order. His uniform was disgusting, no apron and dirty jacket and pants, as I work in the industry I know the standard is an apron.
Ordered the pizza bread and dips, the bread was nice but the dips were one aoli. Ordered the Chicken Caesar salad. It was not a Caesar salad, no egg, it was mesculan with a whole heap of tomato, canned Parmesan and was soaked in balsamic vinegar. Could not tell the difference in the chicken and the bacon.
The head chef proceeded to tell of his poor waitress and tell her to work harder then lecture her in front of everyone, put me off my food. From what I could see she was doing fine.
The restaurant was dirty and dusty and had spider webs, after we left we watched the chef wipe his weeping eye with a tissue as he cooked.
Will not be revisiting.

My husband and I had delicious pizzas with excellent toppings that were cooked to perfection in the woodfire oven. The chef and server were both very friendly and the decor was exceptional and very clean! Prices are great too and NZ wine is available!!

The food was Below average. not very authentic and over priced
The staff was very unprofessional. me and my family used a treat-me voucher. The voucher comes with 2 glasses of wine. we requested a wine upgrade and is willing to pay extra for it. The staff rejected it saying it will complicated the system but had performed this service for a “white couple” for free on the other table.
Double standard and unprofessional

We found the pizza and salad to be very good – the pizza well cooked and with good topping, straightforward green salad.
The chefs were helpful, friendly and flexible.
The waitress had no understanding or knowledge of the wines available and was a bit useless.
House wines were priced reasonably but the labelled wines were very expensive by the glass

Delicious food, Definitely my favorite place to get a good pizza. I give the food five stars and the chef seems to really know what he is doing.
