Having been a faithful limee for a few years now, it is time to have my say.
The food is rather lovely, can’t really fault it. The cafe is comfortable, not gonna fault that either.
The problem is that the menu has not been changed in the entire time I have been visiting this place. It is just so boring! More than two risottos is enough for any menu but to then go and add another on the SPECIALS board is just OTT.
Please – Lime people, please – change the menu!!

I have been a Lime addict for almost 8 months now.
They serve great tasting coffee. It is NEVER cold or burnt. The staff are very welcoming, happy, and friendly. I regularly indulge in a peice of baking and have not yet been disapointed. The only meal I have ordered here is the eggs benedict it was delicious but the sauce could do a bit of work. Otherwise this place is well worth a try.

My brother and I ate breakfast here twice in mid-March – the day before, and the day after, we had completed the Waikaremoana track.
On both occasions we had the eggs & bacon and a couple of long blacks each. We could not fault either. The breakfast was excellent in every way, and the coffee was superb. To top it off, the coffees on the first day didn’t cause any problems while hiking later on!
Service was with a smile, and staff were all pleasant to talk with.
I will return again when I am next in Rotorua.

i went to this cafe on a cold winters morining i ordered the soup and in doing sowas told i would recieve the corn chowder as the soup of the day on recieving my meal i was given some mushroom and blue cheese soup. the staff were not particularly freindly and one of them looked as though shed been up all night. not a good look for a a place that before i was going to regularly. having said that generally it is wonderful service and great coffee im not going to let this one bad experience stop me eating here.
