I found this place to have amazing Food, good service and good wait for meals to arrive! Going back today yay happy mothers day.

Good food, price and atmosphere.

Service was poor, orders efficiently taken but the food took a long time to come out from the first dish to the last. Also some of the dishes weren’t what we ordered, or the wait staff didn’t know what it was. One meal didn’t arrive at all.

We have always been a fan of Little Saigon but were sadly disappointed tonight. We were seated but had to approach the desk to get our order taken, interrupting the conversation of the 3 waitresses who stood chatting. We were then approached at our table and told to quote the number, not the meal.

One meal was bought to us and was half finished before the next arrived. The waitresses went through the motions and quickly wiped down tables but where was the personal touch we used to get?
The meal was average with one meal saturated in oil. Sorry but we won’t be back.

Love this no frills restaurant. Great authentic vietnamese food at great prices. We dine here about once a fortnight and always have great service…Highly recommended

Based on these and other reviews, we headed to Little Saigon. There’s plenty of room and it’s clean unlike many Asian restaurants in Chch. Unfortunately, the food was very average. We had Chicken with Veggies and the Fried Mixed Veggie and they were equivalent to standard Chinese meals of not many veggies (95% onions) and chicken that doesn’t look or taste like chicken. The service was acceptable given that 3 of the 4 servers couldn’t speak or were just learning English. However, the maitre-d/owner? was not friendly at all. Surprising, since we didn’t ask for anything-we just ordered and paid for our meals. These were the only interactions.

Not wanting to write it off, we went back a couple of months later. Service went downhill fast after we only ordered one dish for the two of us. Again, the maitre-d was pretty unfriendly. When we paid, she said nothing to us. She just took our money, put it in the till and walked away.

Needless to say, given the average food quality and her attitude, we won’t be back.

Often have lunch here – have been coming for several years. The food is great, plentiful and full of flavour. Service prompt and friendly. Would especially recommend the ribs with green onion and fresh spring rolls.

The food is absolutley delicious. The staff friendly and helpful. The only thing that lets the restaurant down a little, is the decor.

Good food. Liked everything I have eaten there so far. Good flavours. Not the place for cosy dining but for a good meal.
