Excellent food, hope I can say the same for the staff. Went there, my wife and daughter, with voucher from Grab one for breakfast. It was our 3rd time to be there to half breakfast. We did not make any reservations since the last 2 times we went there we just walked in. We arrived at the cafe around 9.30 am, 3 tables occupied and one table with a reserved sign. A lot of tables available. We mentioned that we are going to use a voucher. 1st question by the waitress/manager, ”do you have a reservation?” We said no, the manager told us we can still eat but next time we should make a reservation 1st. So apparently the available tables are for walk in full paying customers and discounted vouchers paying customer users should call 1st.

I’m not sure why everyone else had problems with voucher use, but I went there just 2 weeks ago with my voucher, and there were no problems at all.
I ordered the scotch fillet steak and chips dish which I have had before, and the portion was just as generous as the first time which is important to me, as I’m often disappointed by the small portions served at cafes and restaurants. The environment is very cosy, service is great, their food is delicious and more importantly, their prices are very reasonable (mine was $17.50 whereas most other restaurants now charge $30+).
They have a vast range of items available for breakfast, lunch and dinner- you won’t be disappointed!

Got there before 5pm but the Lad wouldn’t allow me to order from the lunch Menu !!
I informed the Lad I had a Grabone voucher prior to ordering, we ordered Surf & turf & the Pork, funny enough our meals came out smaller! And the Pork was hard.
(We have ordered these before)

So if in future you purchase vouchers I advise you not to inform the staff you have vouchers until you are ready to pay after you’ve eaten.

I got to know this place via Yazoom coffee deal. It was awhile ago but I still remember the staff(girl) was very friendly and polite and the coffee taste was superb. If I need to catch up with friends I def go back to this cafe. It’s always nice to be served by friendly staff

We have been to this cafe numerous times. This restaurant started as a very cheap pasta place, but later introduced a very good lunch and dinner menu.

I have to say, the food is amazing. Loved the scotch fillet and the corned beef hash is one of my boyfriend’s favourite dishes.

The reason I rate this restaurant quite low is due to the handling of a Groupy voucher I purchased and used recently. The restaurant wanted to tack on some strange conditions, like the voucher only being valid for one drink and one menu item. We were also given contradictory explanations of this policy from the waiter and the person at the till. The waiter also made a mistake on our order and was more interested in arguing over who was wrong than resolving the problem.

We have been to a lot of restaurants, whenever we are pointing out the mistake or misunderstanding to the deal or food, 99% of the owners will try to solve the problem amicably (not reluctantly), regardless of who’s fault caused the problem. I used to work in the service industry as well, I believe this is professionalism, to deliver warmth to customer in services. Not only good food, but good services also attract customers.

Last but not the least, if the voucher does not specify that it can only be used for “one meal plus one beverage ONLY”, then the restaurant should not be able to change it on a whim. I think this practice is deceptive and misleading, especially since one day deal sites expect you to pay immediately, rather than at the restaurant, which means that the money is already out of our hands by the time we get to the restaurant.

Overall, we will go back there for the food since they are amazing, but will not buy any vouchers from this restaurant.

I have gone there several times and found that their coffee is excellent. My friends and I especially like their mocha. The staff are also very friendly and polite which is always a bonus. All in all, I find its a really nice place to catch up with a friend for a good coffee, as its not too crowded.
