Was told great things about this place. Maybe we had them on a bad day.
We went in here for lunch after a bike ride around Mountain. I ordered chicken salad, thinking you can’t really go wrong with a salad. How wrong was I.
The chicken salad didn’t have that much chicken in it, the chicken it had was not the best parts of the chicken that is for sure. The lettuce was stringy to say they least.
We won’t be back and would not recommend to anyone.

Went here for breakfast and had the french toast which was nice enough but sadly the coffee was very average. The staff were helpful and friendly which was pleasing.
I thought that the place needed a bit of a scrub down-our table hadnt been wiped down very well (had crumbs all over it)and we also sat by the window which needed a good clean.

3 of us went in with the intent to order a cake. Just was not sure of witch 1. So we ordered a couple to try. The service was awesome and the cake was devine. We made our choice and put in an order. It was the orange cake with a chocolate base and a dreamy creamy orange top. So excited we returned the next day to collect thinking the birthday boy is going to love it. To my disgust what i collected was a chocolate looking cake. They apologized and assured us that it was the orange cake but with a chocolate top.I gave them the benefit of the doubt and took it home.
Sadly returning 20min later. This was a glorified mud cake and defnatly not what was ordered. They apologized and assured us that they would fix it and we could collect the new cake the next day. (meaning the birthday boy now had to wait till the next day
When we collect it the next day the lady looked really pleased as she was sure it was correct. It looked almost right, But sadly this was not the case. This was some ones attempt of the cake we had that 2 days ago. We were very disappointed in the service and product received. Everything was different. I would not recommend that any one order a take away cake from this cafe. The service displayed when been a sit down customer to a ordering customer are 2 very different situations. Highly disappointing and will not be recommending any of my friends to order from the cafe unless they are having a coffee and sitting down. Never have I experienced such poor service!

Love this caffe in Inglewood, as we live in central Taranaki it makes a good lunch convenient place to stop for lunch if we go to New Plymouth. Menu has a good selection with prices ok, coffee good.
