A great resort-town restaurant – I went on a Saturday night as part of a table of 5, and the restaurant was pumping. The service was great; very attentive and the meals came out quickly. My open burger with a side of onion rings was just as I hoped: meaty, cheesy, greasy and delicious. The perfect accompaniment to a day spent walking around glaciers, and relaxing in hotpools!

Went here for anniversary dinner while away on holiday for the weekend, took ages to get our meals and then mine didn’t show up at all. Asked the waiter when my meal would be arriving and was told that he had forgotten to order it. Was not very happy, but at least hubby got his meal for free. Good thing the local fish and chips was still open!

We had a lovely late lunch there. Try the braised beef salad = scrumptious! Friendly service & stunning view. It would have been even more enjoyable without the annoying sound of the generator and water blasting next door.
