A casual, comfortable and relaxing cafe offering a good range of food made on the premises. We use Hummingbird fairtrade coffee, offer soy and decaf options, and chai, caramel or vanilla flavourings. There is a full breakfast menu available all-day, plenty of cabinet offerings including our own pies and slices, and menu food such as pasta, curries, daily soups, nachos and more. We have Charlies and Phoenix Organic drinks, and are licensed with wine and beer available. Madras Cafe Books is also a well-stocked bookshop offering a wide range of quality books, and pleased to order books for you which are not in stock.
Open weekdays 8am to 4pm during winter months.

I really like this type of Cafe shop—coffee combined with books. I drink, sometimes eat and I also can read, sometimes find the book I like to buy.

I like to do several things at the same time. So,visiting Madras Cafe Books finds me well.
