Yuuum! Fast service, delicious food and drinks. Great atmosphere and decorations. Been here a couple of times and both of my experiences were really good and I will be coming here again.

Really nice place for a cold beer late at night, nice to see such a great venue actually open into the wee hours during the week. Also good to see a bar with out poker machines!! The snack menu is also very nice and unlike most bars in town actually available into the wee hours. We have made a habit of popping in for a late night drink or two. The wee bald man who runs around the customers all excited like Tattoo on Fantasy Island is classic, ” The plane ,, The plane !! ” is classic and takes it upon himself to make everyone feel like a first class passenger on his personal cruse ship. Seriously the friendliest bar in town, every one who works there is genuinely happy to see you, will be back again !!

Love the decor, great for a coffee/drink with friend or romantic dinner. The food is great (especially the Mao Burger) and the best mocha in Palmy (with marshmallows and chocolate fish). Very friendly staff. Quite fun to come for the quiz night too.

Accidental diners, we were inadvertently locked out of our house, with no cell phone. A walk into town, a couple of drinks, a yummy antipasto platter, a watered dog and an extremely helpful and generous host, armed with aphone and the phone number of a locksmith later and we were very happy customers! We love Mao Bar. Great food, lots of options, impressive wine list, excellent Feng Shui. Staff were attentive but not intrusive,, and we had a great overall dining experience. Will e back!

Stopped in and had an OK meal

Was here a few days ago for lunch and had a very nice steak sandwich. Only issue is that the staff seemed a bit over attentive

Definitely one of the BEST places to dine, drink & eat at! Great meals, great service, great cocktails & great decoration!! the only think they could improve on is probably more space! But GREAT place to go

This place has a great feel about it, busy but intimate. And the foods eclectic, you can have spring rolls for an entree then carbonara for a man. Oh and try the cocktails they are great.

I’m a regular for breakfast/brunch – warm friendly service, excellent coffee and the food is tasty and satisfying. Great sitting outside first thing for the morning sun.
