The Marina Restaurant is housed in the former Lysnar ballroom overlooking the three rivers in Gisborne. Offering fine French cuisine prepared by Michelin trained chefs. Open from Tuesday to Saturday for dinner and Thursday to Saturday for lunch. Two course lunch – a main and a dessert for only $23.50.

Best place to eat in Gisborne hands down! Beautifully prepared food with fresh, local ingredients and lovely wines to accompany.
Have been several times and make a point to have a meal whenever in town as it is such an experience. Gisborne is very lucky to have attracted a talented, international chef and a front of house manager that has the knowledge to cater at this level.
The Marina would easily rival any restaurant in NZ’s major cities, but we hope the secret is safe with Gisborne for a long time to come!

Loved it!
Nice setting on the river bank, very attentive but at the same time inconspicuous waiter and absolutely divine food – best in Gisborne!
If you want to have a successful dinner out when in Gisborne – pick this restaurant!
