I love megawatt! Especially their mashed potatoes and the gluten free food.
I liked the style the building is presented too. Great for a family dinner. I went their about two years ago and I am looking forward to going back! I hope the are open after the earthquake!

We booked out Megawatt for an evening work function and had their set menu. There were two delicious choices for each course plus a vegetarian option. The meals were well-presented (although the chicken was a bit dry and overcooked). Our biggest issue was timing; we arrived for drinks at 7pm, had our main course after 8.30, and were still waiting for dessert around 10pm. Quite surprising, considering there were only two options for each course.

I have always found the staff to be EXTREMELY helpful… even on short notice they have helped me out making cakes for my children’s birthdays.
