Unfortunately midland have lost their mojo lately

increased prices, smaller portions/worse sushi quality. Looks like all their business has gone to the Woodward St sushi place. No more queues at lunchtime is a bonus I guess

I love Midland Sushi – it is always fresh, they will make it on the spot and it is so affordable. The pieces are huge and fantastic value.

I highly recommend this sushi to anyone who wants a snack, lunch or to cater for parties/businesses.

I have been to this sushi place a lot and everytime during lunch, you have to wait in a cue for a good while but its worth it.

But if you go too early or too late, you may be unfortunate like me and get an avocado triangle with brown avocado in. Not nice!

i have come to this sushi bar at least 20 times and everytime time i come the sushi tastes great, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the sushi is made probably within the hour. plus its relatively cheap! it is definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely excellent sushi, delicious and fresh made. We get sushi here at least once a week. It is great value as the pieces are large and most are $1. The miso is good too. The long queue goes quickly so don’t be put off by this. If your favorite sushi is not on display the staff make it for you.

Haven’t tried the Chew’s Lane one, but the queue suggests it is just as good.
