We’ve been here a few times now and the service is the best I’ve had ANYWHERE! They are always super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It’s a great “local” to grab something on the go or to sit and relax with a magazine and coffee in the sunshine. The food is pretty much cabinet food and pre-made, but is always delicious. What they do sell is excellent and reasonably priced.

This cafe looked nice from the street – and I had an appointment nearby. Wanting a good coffee I thought this looked like the ideal place. What a dissappointment.
I was left standing holiding my eftpos card while the ‘manager’ made the milk. When I asked if she would like to be paid (so I could sit down) she responded quite rudely. I had to finish off the transaction myself (as she turned her back on me before it was completed).
I then sat down and my coffee was served in a paper cup! (she thought it was a take away) ?? I asked for a proper cup and she brought me my flat white in a glass and was told it is really a ‘take away cafe’ (quite a few people were sitting at tables) When I pointed out that another customer actually had a china cup – she replied “‘that is because they are having tea”! At this point was feeling very unwelcome. which I was prepared to get over if the coffee was good – but unfortunately it was weak and tasteless. I left the full glass on the counter and walked out with lots of time left for my appointment. Happy to get back to my usual cafe in Titirangi where they know how to make a good cup, and smile when serving!!
