Ate here the first night we stayed at Millbrook. Was very happy with the high standard of good and service. Had the beetroot and goat cheese salad followed by the lamb which was amazing. The only criticism I would have is that the desserts didn’t quite meet the high standard of the rest of the meal but were still nice. Would definitely head back.

The Millhouse is a bit of an undiscovered gem, as I am not a member of Millbrook resort near Arrowtown. Initially we were invited as guests and enjoyed ourselves so much went back again and again last year.

The Millhouse looks out at a small lake shrouded by snow capped alps – Wow.

The food is a real gem, well thought through menu and wine list, beautifully cooked with understanding of how to do things very well.

Service was by a local girls clearly well trained by a tall blond French lady, who was clearly keeping a caring watchful eye on all the tables. Great location, menu and people, we loved it.
