Mimosa is a new style of cafe in Lake Road, Takapuna. Our new cafe which features a natural timber interior, industrial lighting and fittings and a bespoke selection of New Zealand beverages and food. We are serving Fairtrade Organic Kokako Coffee. The food from the kitchen includes Free Range & Organic products.

I’ve only been once so far but loved it. Got the great package of a coffee (Mocchachino) and a muffin for only $6.50. The banana chocolate muffin was just perfect, it just tasted very authentic and not too sweet. Also the organic coffee was super yummy. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting. I’d highly recommend it!
The only constructive feedback would be for the opening hours. I know it’s not just me who sometimes also likes to go to a cafe after 4pm.
