Found service good but meals disappointing.Only steak available was sirlion.I can get that in a public bar.
Left a little flat.Surprised at the ratings.

Absolutely fabulous. Four of us had dinner & had a wonderful night. The owners are very passionate about what they have created & the atmosphere was very welcoming. The food was exquisite & well timed. It was the little extras between courses that make you want to return. The wine list was very comprehensive & had some great local wines that you won’t find in the supermarket or wine shop – only from the vineyard. We will return.

Had a lovely romantic dinner for 2 at Mint on a Wednesday night. Great, attentive service without being over-bearing. Food was fantastic!
As a Coeliac diner it was great to be able to choose almost anything and have it adapted so willingly and well.
Thanks, will definitely eat there again.

Well it was pretty average overall. Service was ok but unengaged. My wine glass was quite badly smeared. My big thing was the food, it read fairly well on the menu, but was overall poorly executed. More attention to seasoning and my dish was quite cold. I’m in Nelson quite often for business, so I will be back to witness some improvement hopefully.

The five of ous dined there on the 23/1/10 ,I was a little apprehensive as it was very new and hadn’t been reviewed.It was also a very important occasion being my mothers birthday .
The food ,service,decor and background music was excellent, Thankyou
