I went to Mocca today, and for the second time my fellow diner and I ordered the warm lamb salad. It was much nicer the first time we tried it. Today is was a little bit off, not sure why? This is however the second time that we have asked for the meal to be ready at noon as I have 30 minutes only for lunch. Both times we were told that it would be 10 minutes (which would make it noon) and both times we have had to gulp our meal down because it arrived at the table at 12.20! A blithe remark from the waitress ‘sorry, there was a mix up with communication in the kitchen’ doesn’t cut it with me. It shouldn’t take 30 minutes to cook a warm lamb salad. And if it does why do they say it will be only 10 minutes from ordering? Also, although the meal was chased up at 20 minutes after ordering and we were told it was on it’s way … it was still another 10 minutes until it turned up.
I am all for second chances but we tried that and sadly had another bum experience. Won’t be returning.

Fantastic Place for fantastic food and coffee! Great staff, lots of smiles, polite, and child friendly! A well visted place for myself and friends. Highly recommended to all. Five stars just isnt enough to rate.

The vege pie is Divine. And because I put my business card in the jar. I won two wines and a tasting platter for two. My daughter bought her three year old twins and they received a platter too. We really loved the choices. Renee like the stuffed mushrooms and I like the soup and so did Zak (one of the twins)There was beef and beetroot, sweetcorn fritters with salmon on top. The Chocolate biscuit with caramel was “yum”, says Marli (the other twin). This is my favourite cafe. The library right next door and so I can sit and read.
There’s something about this cafe that I really don’t like, the food is average and last time I ordered an iced mocha which was so sickly sweet and thick that I left it untouched. The atmosphere feels awkward to me. However, when I went the staff were lovely.

Most of my friends love this cafe and rave about it. I find it a bit too pricey, and the food just tastes like generic mass-produced cabinet food. Also was not impressed when i was given a smoothie full of milk after telling them i cannot have dairy… BLIMMIN EXPENSIVE
I went back this week, and my food arrived cold and tough.

Superior cafe in my mind with great service and excellent food.
The coffee is the best in the area and any other franchise coffee house does not even come close!
When its busy (like anywhere) it can take a little time to get ordered food but its always good and great value.
Highly recommended to anyone in the area as I definitely rank it over any cafe in Pukekohe.
