We went for dinner on Tuesday night and it took them over an hour for the food to come out..! Around the 30 min mark, we asked how much longer we would have to wait and they just said “shortly” but took another half an hour!
We saw two men leave after they got sick of waiting, and one table ordered before us but they still didn’t receive their food when we finished eating..!
We were almost ready to leave but after much agony we received our food. We ordered 4 mains and they only gave us one bowl of rice and had to ask multiple times for more rice to have with our mains… Thee food was delicious but I am not sure I would be prepared to wait such long times again…!

We had Prawn curry, Chicken curry, Garlic naan, Biriyan and Kulfi.
I vote for the freshness and my friend for the authentic flavor.
The Chef also taught me a very simple technique to eat with my fingers…whereas all my Indian friends have failed so far!! Three cheers to the chef!!!
I am for sure going back for more…

Dishes can be modified to suit your taste and, unlike most other indian restaurants in Auckland, it isn’t greasy.
Please go and I promise you won’t be dissappointed. I am just surprised the place isn’t always packed.

This even beats Satya which was my favourite.
This was recommended by a friend and I will come back again and recommend this to anyone.
Great selection, great flavours and a great service.
Just don’t tell too many people so that it doesn’t get too busy.

Firstly, the food is actually good – with great authentic variety in starters as well.
Then there is the customer service and ambiance. In short, Moksha sets up the evening perfectly for one to sit back, enjoy good food and have fun.

The food tilts towards South Indian flavours which are quite a change from the five standard mains you find everywhere!
Need to try those tandoori scallops on the menu.

I’ve eaten a lot of Indian with all the usual suspects but this food was really authentic, absolutely delicious and I could hardly stop myself was absolutely stuffing my self with the myriad of delicious treats.
Especially good were the Paneer tikka masala and the beautiful parfait style dessert.
I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Moksha to ANYONE and I will definitely be going back.

It was like experiencing a degustation dinner, Indian style.
Encouraged by other people’s recommendations about the culinary prowess of the chefs here, I bravely strayed away from my usual faves ‘tikka masala’ and ‘palak paneer’ . . . and asked the helpful man in charge what he would recommend for me to try.
The most incredible mouth-watering dishes arrived, and my brothers and I fought over every last morsel!
After being so stunned by the flavours of the mains, I ventured to a dessert. A thing called kulfi, I think – kind of like icecream, but not as sweet or rich, and way more flavoursome. I had no idea Indian desserts were so yum!
Flavours. What an experience.
The weekdays buffet are great value for money. You need to try this.
