The Red Head Bar and Restaurant is one of Wellington’s hidden gems, found upstairs in Molly Malone’s Irish Bar, on the corner of Courtenay Place and Taranaki Street. Whether it’s for dinner in the restaurant, a glass of wine on the balcony in summer or a warming nip of whiskey in front of the fireplace in winter, The Red Head has something for everyone.
Open seven days a week from 11am until late, The Red Head offers a unique dining experience in the heart of Courtenay Place, only a stone’s throw from Wellington’s vibrant theatres and waterfront. With fantastic after work wine specials every Wednesday and Friday, live music on Friday and Saturday evenings and a 10% discount on any food purchases when you dine before a show, The Red Head Bar and Restaurant is perfect location to start, spend, or end, your evening out in Wellington.
The Red Head Bar and Restaurant is also available for private functions, offering a versatile space with the most stunning chandelier in town, for a relaxed, yet elegant atmosphere.
