Delicious starter of bacon wrapped asparagus and plenty of gluten free options.

Defiantly the best place in Rangiora to get an amazing meal, with a huge range of variety and menu options. Great atmosphere and the staff and so friendly and accommodating.

A great little place for a sunny lunch (shade and burn cream provided!) and a quiet drop of ale or otherwise – we tried the “Summer Ale” which was just the right tipple for the occasion. Meals were great, well presented, tasty and more importantly in this day and age good value i.e. “plenty on the plate.” The only reason the rating comes in at a 4 rather than 5 star is the interior is a little dark and would benefit immensely from the introduction of some more daylight. Great place – highly recommended.

I took my 3 young children to Monteiths on a Friday night and the staff were wonderful with them. They patiently waited while the children decided what they wanted & helped them with the selection.

The lady who served us was able to describe various meal selections to me to help my decision.

They were extremely friendly to myself & my children and provided colouring textas and pictures to colour while waiting for their meals. The lady serving us (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name), even suggested that, while I decided what I wanted off the menu, she would take the children’s orders & get them started.

She was wonderful. So friendly & I felt so welcome with my children. It was wonderful.
