Hidden in a quiet alleyway off Tory Street is where you will find us. Look out for the discreet wooden door. Be careful because if you turn off too early you’ll wind up in the back of the burger joint next door. Ring the white doorbell and wait for the buzz, then pull on the handle and follow the stairs.
At Motel we believe that the cocktail, with its rich, extensive history and varied global character is far too complex to define with a single cocktail list. Therefore, we constantly rotate our featured theme menus to celebrate different eras in drinking history and seasonal flavours with an air of irreverence.
We also observe certain dates of importance every year with special commemorative menus, including Cameron Day, the anniversary of the Storming of the Ritz and the repeal of Prohibition, as well as the usual suspects: St Patricks Day, Canada Day, Bastille Day and of course Xzibit’s birthday. We don’t share any of these menus online though so you will have to come in to find out for yourselves what we are currently serving.
Ps: Whatever you may have heard about burlesque dancers, celebrity dj’s, angry elves, naked sports people, fire-extinguisher distillation, furious broadcasters, Victoria’s Secret models and copious amounts of Fernet Branca, it probably isn’t true.

Went there and asked if I could have the same cocktail they had on the menu 2 months ago. They first said no, then they said yes, and when the cocktail arrived was completely off.
I have asked the waiter to please check with the bartender the ingredients while I found the cocktail name on my iPhone and asked if they could replicate it. After 20 minutes they brought back the same cocktail I was served, pretending it was a different one.
If they had read the ingredients they would have noticed some orange juice as one of the ingredients, and they brought me back a clear drink, just pretending it was a different one.
the staff has changed, the bartenders are very busy and I don’t like being treated like a fool.
Very disappointing.

Try the blue cheese and apple sandwich, for $5 you cant go wrong!
Also the bartenders are happy to be creative and make a drink that suits your tastes in case you cant find on on the menu. All ways a favourite place to go.
It is hard to find though – down the alley and ring the doorbell or sometimes through chow.
