We are locals and have dined here several times. This place is awesome. If you like your Blue Cod smothered in batter eat somewhere else. They poach it, and it’s wonderful. Food is great, service is great, and prices very reasonable. You must book, and that’s got to tell you something!

Wonderful food, lovely, friendly and attentive staff. beautifully presented. very reasonably priced. Will definitively be back! Nicest meal we have had out in a long time!
Went to Murphy’s for a joint birthday dinner with my mother, right from booking on the phone the staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a lovely warm cheerful atmosphere, friendly staff greeted us at the door and sat us immediately and took our order in a timely fashion, the food was beautiful and arrived fairly quickly, and they were generous potion sizes.
The desserts were amazing and beautifully decorated and tasted fantastic.
Would recommend to everyone for a great night out
