We have dinned here a couple of times. Food always very good, how ever service last night was lacking spark. Overall atmosphere is good. The Irish barman was very friendly. To many staff appeared to be hanging around talking. Overall was a good dinning experience.

10 of us had dinner here on Saturday night; we had been playing golf and were ready for some serious eating!! The food was excellent – all steaks were cooked exactly as we wanted them plus they were tender and delicious. The desserts were simply devine and finished off a beautiful meal. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and excellent at their job. We had our meals in a back room which was tastefully decorated and had a good atmosphere. Later we went into the main bar area and had a couple of drinks and enjoyed the company of staff and guests. I will definitely go back for a meal soon. Many thanks to management and staff for making this a memorable evening

We went for a meal on Oct 2011, had the lamb shanks, and roast lamb with sticky date pudding for desert. Awesome meal, very good. Service was good too, friendly. Will definately go back there.

This place has marched ahead big time, the steak was perfect, the service excellent, the atmosphere made one happy to be there. I’m sold and will return again and again. My brother from New Plymouth was absolutely sold on the meal.

I’m kitchen manager from the coachman in palmy, I had a mixed grill and every peice of meat was cooked to perfection.My wife managers the herb farm cafe’ and throught the service was at a very high standard. We went straight back the following week.

Bad food can be compensated for with good service, however this mockery of an Irish bar failed to do so. The 10 of us were punctual for our reservation to find the table covered in the previous diners mess. The staff were extremely rude from the moment we arrived and delivered our cold meals in drips and drabs. We had to request cutlery. Definitely will not recommend this place to anyone….save your money!

I feel that the service was inadequate, cold and rude!
Some of the food came out cold, we didnt eat all at the same time, it felt like we were an inconvenience and We had to ask for cutlery.
Unacceptable to any standard when providing a service of this nature!
