Blenheim’s secret gourmet haven. 4pax. crumbed mussels. surf and turf. 2x chicken periperi. excellent food, service. a real find.

We were unable to book a restaurant in the centre of town due to the number of cyclists around for the day’s event. This meant we had to look slightly wider for somewhere for dinner. Despite only having 3 reviews we plumped for Nikau at the Copthorne and we really fell on our feet.

We shared the scallops as a starter and they were cooked to perfection. The Angus Fillet for main; me with the mushroom, tomato and fries and the wife with the potatoes and veggies, cooked to a turn and complemented perfectly with a Forrest Pinot Noir…heaven! We shared the lemon brulee and vanilla ice cream dessert as a lovely end to a great meal.
The place was quiet but the service was excellent. I would recomend Nikau to anyone.

Wow – I have just got home from a evening function for the National Party what an amazing night, I have lived in Blenheim for 16 years and have never visited this hotel. The food and service was the best I have ever experienced in Blenheim for a long time, the function suite was stylish, beautifully decorated and attention to every detail, the staff were attentive and the food simply Delicious. The chef carved the main course of Roast Canterbury Beef, the best I have tasted. Well done Copthorne I will certainly be recommending you !

I took my wife out for a birthday treat.
The young man who waited on us was very pleasant and very professional.
The meal itself was fantastic,I had the eye fillet and my wife the fish.we both tasted each others meal and were simply flabergasted that it was so good.
We talked to the chef who is from the UK and evidently has cooked for Royalty.
If in Marlborough eat at this Hotel,you wont be disapointed.
