Cafe serving great coffee and a range of both counter food and cooked meals with a Mexican and Creole influence. Inside includes a couched area with coffee table which is great for families with kids plus an outdoor courtyard for catching the sun or alfresco dining. Relaxed cafe atmosphere with staff who care about their customers. Fully licensed with a good range of beer and wine. BYO is available in the evening for wine only and a corkage applies. Fun and friendly place to catch a coffee or bite to eat with a well priced menu which suits a range of budgets. Open 7 days.

I had the Gumbo – described as chicken with hot sausage soup with rice. The meal was gluggy and tasted of bisto stock cubes. There was no depth of flavour at all. It was very unpleasant. Another had the rice with chicken, sausage and shrimp. It was described as average with no depth of flavours and it was spot the shrimp. The other had the chicken fajita.. the chicken looked very ordinary. The tomato salsa salad looked like it was from the day before – colourless, limp and unappetising.
A disappointing meal. Hopefully they will lift their game as the menu did read well.
