Generally I love Noodle Canteen, I have been here many times and to many different stores and have always had an enjoyable experience.

Recently however, I have been to the Westgate noodle canteen and been surprised by the amount of chilli they are using in their non-spicy dishes! I’m quite a wuss when it comes to spices so tend to stick to milder options. I went there a couple of weeks ago and ordered the garlic prawns and couldn’t even eat it, it was that hot. A call to the shop and they offered to replace it (couldn’t be bothered at that point and let it be).

I went there last week however and ordered the BBQ pork, and although I specifically asked for NO chilli it was also too hot for me to eat!!

I think I’ll start making a side trip to the one on Railside Ave from now on…

I LOVE Noodle Canteen!! It’s AMAZING! The food is so fresh and DELICIOUS, cooked right in front of your eyes. And there are so many different dishes to try you can just choose a different one each time! The flavours are absolutely amazing – if you haven’t been to Noodle Canteen yet, you have got to try it!

We went to Noodle Canteen in Albany Highway. The good thing with Noodle Canteen is the foods are being made before your eyes.The foods are always good. Service’s average. But when it comes to hygiene we have to say it’s below standard. On one occasion we saw the chef was sweeping the floor then he dumped the dust in the bin with access from the bench next to cashier; and some of the dust was all over the bench (which i think its not that nice view to see and very unhygienic). Then he start cooking without washing his hands after that. Hopefully Noodle Canteen will look more into this kind of issue to improve their hygiene standard. Thanks
