My partner was extremely happy with his pizza… apart from the unfortunate crunch of a single cherry stone within one of the ‘dried cherries’ topping the pizza. That said, I stole a bite of his pizza, (careful to pinch the cherry first, to avoid the stone hazard!) and the pizza was gooood.
It’s definitely looking massively spruced up here since the name change. We were in for lunch, so chose to sit out near the open fire in the bar area. But I also saw there’s a big separate restaurant area now – looking sharp with its fancy shist stone features.
The menu gave a great selection, which had me struggling to choose between so many things I liked the look of. Good job guys. Love your work.
Great place to meet up with friends for the evening. Great outdoor area. Special mention to the Samoan staff member, he especially made the evening, he was consistently friendly, helpful accommodating and efficient. I felt the other 3 or 4 staff members could have customer service / hospitality training (friendly suggestion)
I ordered chicken Ceasar salad, and was pleasantly surprised. There were 6 pf us at the table and all enjoyed their various meals, granted service was slow…perhaps the training of the other staff this evening may have prevented the slow service ??
All in all a lovely evening….

Today after many months of not visiting, I went again as part of a large party. Unfortunately if anything the quality has worsened. Ordering the chicken burger, I was disappointed to receive what was a very small chicken breast that was over cooked and very dry along with a single rasher of bacon from what must’ve been the worlds smallest pig. Both of these laid side by side weren’t large enough to cover the bun (which was also a bit stale). To top this the chips had clearly been out of the fryer for a while before arriving at the table as these were cold.
A lot of other guests also had a bad experience and aren’t planning on returning.
