Great menu selection, even for the children. Food was really good, meals were large but we did clean up all our plates as it was so very good.
Wonderful, friendly service…very highly recommend. Would even make the trip from Tauranga just to try the evening menu!
Thanks guys.

I’ve been here before and have a favourite meal – my advice is to just go for the anti-pasto plate for two.
It costs around $30 – and usually has fresh ham, smoked salmon, a few chicken nibble, some pate, tapenade, cream cheese (great with the salmon), slices of pineapple and orange, some sundried tomatoes and gerkins and olives.
You usually get 6 triangles of toast to help sample all this, and that might be my only complaint, as there could be MORE TOAST to handle all the food that comes with this dish.
I you like nibbling on fresh food as I do – then this dish is as good as I’ve found ANYWHERE in New Zealand.
We also had a couple of glasses of the local Ohau vineyard wine, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc … and the total bill for food and drink was just $45.
I’ve never really tried the rest of the menu – the anti-pasto is THAT good. Try it.

We both came away feeling very disappointed. We both had the Big Fry up.
The food was warm when it arrived at our table, the bread wasn’t toasted as advertised on the menu, the steak was both tough and Luke warm so neither of us ate more than 3 mouth fulls. The Bacon was nice, the egg poached when it was again advertised as fried. The amount of food was good, but on the whole would not go back.

Toilets were clean, and the staff member I dealt with was friendly and professional.
My food came quickly, might go back again if I’m in the area.
