One 2 One Cafe is a great place to visit on a rainy day where you can soak up the atmosphere of this busy little cafe. There is a strong smell of coffee as you enter through the front door, and the sound of the clinking cups over the chatter of polite conversation.
One2One Cafe was previously known as the Atomic Cafe. The two fat cats are still around, somewhere. Probably on one of the chairs, lap cruising or in someones guitar case.
Millers have been providing the coffee here since 2005 and are holding their own quite nicely thank you very much along Ponsonbys’ well represented cafe strip.
The exposed brick walls and the now retired espresso machine on the shelf at the back of the room remind us of time that has passed here.
Family friendly with charming covered rear courtyard complete with childrens sandpit and blackboard.
Come in for a cuppa sometime and see where the coffee scene started from in Ponsonby Rd over 18 years ago.

Only let down is that they permit smoking on some outdoor tables which are near enough to to blow smoke all over the kids sandpit and nearby tables. There were six chain smokers when we visited which ruined it really If they are targeting kids then perhaps it’s time to ban smoking at all tables.

our main purpose is to go and have a nice coffee and the best meals i would say in Auckland. the quality and standard of the meals is just very high, i always go out to all other cafes but no meal is good as what is offered at 121 cafe………….thanks to the staff and management, we are very happy

A very relaxing environment, with a real community feel amongst the patrons.

However the coffee and environment are lacking.
The outside decked area for smoking and sun-gazing, is disgusting. Above hear are cobb-web covered studs, and down below the deck seems filthy, gunky and green.
The bathroom layout also is a joke. One small men’s cupboard for a toilet, and another ‘Wheel Chair Accessible’ toilet, which is once again filthy.
All round I appreciate the theme, however the environment its it, and the standard of it need some serious thinking.
