This is an excellent restaurant, for the food as well as service.
I have dined here on several occasions, including a special degustation dinner matched with Nga Waka wines.
The chef’s creations have been increasingly impressive with each visit, with such care on the combination of flavours, colors and textures. It’s fine dining in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, with friendly, helpful service and an amazing 180 degree view of Oriental bay from the 7th floor!
My fiancé and I will be having our wedding here, and very much look forward to an unforgettable experience!

Amazing Mother’s Day lunch. The food was beautiful and amazing service. The location is great as it has great views of Oriental Bay. I have also been here for dinner with a larger group and it was so lovely I had to take my family back! High recommend it!

Went there for dinner last Friday evening. Very disappointed. Ordered the Ostrich Steak and Beef Wellington as medium rare. Ostrich came out well done, asked for it to be taken back. The plate came back with medium ostrich, however same condiments were used again. The dish came with gnocchi, however, they were refried warmed. Horrible. The jus/source was just oil. The Signature beef Wellington came out as medium, the pumpkin puree was too sweet.
Overall bad experience, horrible dishes. I would have expected the service to reflect the prices.. restaurant is very noisy, do not recommend coming here for a romantic dinner.

My partner and I dined on Saturday, we had great food in good time, great service and there was a great atmosphere, it was also priced very reasonably and the views were awesome, will definitely return

Was disappointed to take overseas visitors here for dinner and NOT be told they had booked in a bus load of tourists. Service was slow and it ruined the feel of the evening with 2 huge tables of 20 people at each. Not to mention our lovely window had a filtered view through dirty windows.

I ate here as I was staying in house, it was raining and I couldn’t be bothered walking into town for dinner. So, it was a spot of serendipity that I ended up having The Best steak I have ever eaten in NZ, and one of the two best anywhere in the world. Fanbloodytastic!
