This is a very good restaurant. The service is top-notch and the quality of the food is consistent. The mains are a bit on the pricey side though. A good option for an upmarket pizza too. I also like that they stock Magners.

I have noticed that the prices have increased again in the last 6 months.. Main meals are now $35-$38. I thought this was way over-priced for the standard of food. Portion sizes were too big (Lone Star sizes) . Would have rather of had less on my plate and paid half the price!

This is a fantastic place to eat and gather and eat and drink and generally have wonderful times with friends and family- nothing is too much trouble, they are accomodating in their menu’s, its a place I look forward to going to on a regular occurrence (sorry waistline). Just primo!

Onyx is always our first choice in Cambridge when we have guests as we have never had a bad meal there, tonight was no exception. Flatbreads to start were delicious, 4 steaks perfectly cooked, my pork fillet was tasty and beautifully presented. I can’t go past the pear and ginger pudding, only one other in our group had room for a pudding and said the cheesecake was delicious. Coffees all good, quick friendly service, first class meal, would definitely recommend

Food was very good, well prepared and well made but was all a bit rushed. Only issue with the last time we ended up with a trainee… Don’t have an issue with people not knowing what they are doing but she had no support from other staff so was making ALOT of mistakes..

We have eaten here 4 times in 5 weeks and each time it is a fantastic culinary experience. The flavours are delicious – always a slightly different ingredient mixed in with the more traditional so eating is exciting and tasty and you feel you’ve had a “dining experience” rather than just eaten the same old thing in a different place. I highly recommend it.
