I’m kind of surprised to see that this place did so badly in the other reviews. Its not fancy (like other restaurants in the area) and I did get a rice dish rather than a noodle one. But I enjoyed the teriyaki chicken with veges and rice, yummy.

Tried this place when it first opened. Truly awful. Tried again 6 months later -still truly awful. Just gloop. You have been warned.

Second to worst food I’ve had in NZ in 2.5 years. The tempura was dreadful and tasted like it had been sitting out for a day (my g/f just corrected me…she says ‘a week.’)

My g/f’s Tom Yum Prawn soup was, in her words, “completely over-powering, salty and over-cooked.” However, I tried two bites after she didn’t want to eat anymore and I was finished. My description is less flowery: Crap.

My Chili Beef was only okay but tasted like the mall food.

When we ordered by phone we asked if there was a minimum charge for delivery and they said no. They failed to tell us there was a charge of $6.50 for delivery .5km up the road and I foolishly tipped the driver $5 not knowing this.

Needless to say, I’ll never buy food from this place again. Had I looked at reviews before we ordered, I would have saved myself $41 plus $6.50 delivery charge and $5 tip for two mains and one side!
